Membership Categories

Membership of PASMA is currently open to Manufacturers, Hirer/Dealers, Hire Assembly and Training companies. The association also offers an Associate category for individuals/organisations that have an interest in keeping up-to-date with all the latest industry news and developments.

Members can nominate their staff for our council and committees and can vote in elections. However, Associate members and those in our “Working Towards” Membership programme do not have voting rights. You may request to become a member in more than one category.

Apply for membership

Manufacturing Member

To become an approved Manufacturing Member of PASMA, your organisation must produce and distribute mobile tower equipment that has third party certification to EN1004 from a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) or EA (European Co-Operation on Accreditation) Approved Body. You must also provide evidence that you comply with ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) or equivalent.

If you don’t meet these requirements yet but can commit to doing so within a reasonable timeframe, you can apply to join our “Working Towards” Membership programme. When you do so, we will work with you to create a step-by-step Development Plan that supports you towards earning full recognition as a PASMA Manufacturing Member.

Training Members

Only approved PASMA training centres can deliver the association’s portfolio of courses, including the flagship Towers for Users course. In order to become a Training Member, you must have an approved training centre and your training facilities must meet the criteria as set out by PASMA.

 Training Centre Criteria

You will need a PASMA Approved Instructor in order to deliver PASMA training. This can be either an employed instructor or alternatively you could use one of our many Freelance Instructors.  If you do not already have employed instructors but would like to train one of your employees to be able to conduct PASMA Training we offer a PASMA Instructor course. Before you receive PASMA Accredited Training Centre status, an assessment will be conducted on your premises to ensure that they meet current PASMA criteria. These assessments are to ensure that we can be satisfied that no matter where a course is being conducted we can guarantee a comfortable learning environment.
