Part one of the combined course is aimed at personnel who work from prefabricated units of less than 2.5 metres of height.

The course involves both a theory and practical session and includes how to assemble, dismantle and relocate mobile access units without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others.

You can also by the accompanying DVD entitled ‘Accidents can happen, even at low level’, providing information and guidance on how to use folding step units and folding tower units safely and productively. With an estimated 50,000 of these versatile units in daily use, the DVD covers everything from undertaking the initial risk assessment, checking the components prior to assembly and following the manufacturer’s instructions, to assembling the unit, checking it before use and completing the necessary inspection record. Towers for Users

Towers for Users

The second part of this course is aimed at personnel who will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, moving, inspecting and using mobile access towers. Instruction is in both theory and practical sessions. the course also covers current legislation and guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers.

As a supplement to this course, PASMA has also produced a DVD entitled "Guide to the safe use of mobile access towers" which you can buy by clicking here.

Delegates attending this course receive a course content booklet and PASMA Code of Practice together with a PASMA certificate and photocard for the relevant level that is valid for 5 years.
