PASMA plays an active role and supports the aims and objectives of ACWAHT, (Advisory Committee on Work at Height Training), which was formed by the HSE's Construction Corporate Topic Group [CDTU] to complement HSE's Falls from Height Priority Programme.

In conjunction with other lead industry bodies who have an interest in falls from height issues, the Committee's aims are

• To discuss and formulate a common standard for delivery of work at height training
• To discuss and agree the core technical knowledge and competence to meet the proposed Work at Height regulations
• To discuss and publicise the training requirements throughout the training associations / organisations
