PASMA donates over £1,900 to Cancer Research UK following Tower Week's 'High Tower Challenge'
PASMA Chairman, Carl Evans, delivered a grand total of £1,959 to Cancer Research UK on behalf of Hi-Point Access - following a member-wide fundraising initiative as part of Tower Week 2015 - at the most recent PASMA Council meeting in Manchester.
This initiative was the ‘High Tower Challenge’, which aimed to see how high PASMA members could collectively build mobile access towers, measuring up against famous buildings and mountains.
A total of 1959m was reached during the challenge, exceeding the height of Ben Nevis, with PASMA sponsoring a pound per metre.
The charity set to receive the donation was determined through a lucky draw of suggested charities put forward by participating PASMA members, with Hi-Point Access's choice, Cancer Research UK, becoming the lucky winner.
For full information on the competition and the lucky draw, please see the original announcement on the Tower Week website.
